Been thinking about getting an older (ie cheap) more all-round type bike for scooting around the place and maybe even a bit of touring. (No way in hell I’m ever going anywhere further afield than 2 hours ride on a 675 :talktohand:) )

Brother suggested one of the bigger TDMs. On first glance, seems to fit the bill as it’s one of the original tall tourers – and importantly – not one of those teutonic piece of crap. Seen pics of the odd TDM out on trackways too, so guess they probably steer and handle not too badly into the bargain.

Anybody any knowledge or experience of them – good bad or indifferent ?
