Still alive anyway.Got up early yesterday morning because there were 2 Chinese families staying in the b&b and they made enough noise to wake the dead. Had to share a bathroom with them, so I spent the night pissing into bottles.

It rained all night & I’d parked the bike in the so called courtyard out back. It was like a swamp that morning. Could barely get the bike out of there. Boots covered in shit. Hit rush hour traffic again, had only my dark visor,no pinlock, so had to keep visor up to see where I was going. Rain pelting against my face. Not good. Only good thing was you could see u we’re riding into better weather. After many hours, finally crossed over into the Czech rep. What a massive change. Road surface was shit. Houses half falling down. U have to see it to believe it. Sinage with strange writing. Petrol prices in Kronos or something. Eventually got into Prague at around 4pm. Beautiful looking city from what I saw on the ride in. Traffic was mad though. Found my hostel,shower & shit and off for grub and beer. Hit the hay early last night. Felt tired TBH.

Woke early this morning so decided to beat the traffic. No such luck. These eastern Europeans get going early. Was on the road at 6am and according to nav, 358km and 6hrs riding. Had no breakfast & had no currency, so decided to wait till I needed fuel to get bite to eat. The nav took me through 150km (3hrs) of boreens. On one stretch of unpaved road going up a mountain with switchbacks & sun in your face, I nearly shit myself. Was sure I was going to drop her. Not an easy task lifting her on your own. eventually got to 75km stretch of normal B roads,then back into Austria for a bit before crossing into Slovakia by a short river crossing ferry. 30km ride into Bratislava from there. From what I’ve seen if Slovakia, it’s the same crack as Czech rep, then again why wouldn’t it.

So tomorrow,zagreb in Croatia and then onto Trenton, Italy Sunday. Weather is warming up too. Don’t want it too warm.
