BSB 2015

A £50,000 PRIZE is on offer to British Superbike front-runners wiling to start from the back of the grid in a one-off rule shake-up.

The top three starters in race two of the Brands Hatch round on July 17-19 will be offered the choice of retaining their front-row position or starting from the back of the grid.

If anyone to take up the challenge goes on to win from the back of the grid, they will earn a £50,000 cash prize.

Second place takes a £25,000 prize and third place takes £10,000.

Only the leading rider will be able to collect one of those top three cash prizes but any who takes up the challenge of starting from the back will receive £5,000 regardless of success.

They will also get double main season championship points and regular podium points if they battle into a top three position

The highest-placed will receive a special trophy.

The idea of the ‘MCE BSB – Monster Energy King of Brands’ challenge is to see whether anyone can replicate Neil Hodgson’s famous charge from last to first at Oulton Park in 2000.
