Completely new fourcylinder MV coming
MV AGUSTA is set to launch a completely new four-cylinder model in the ‘near future’ according to company President Giovanni Castiglioni.
The ‘completely new platform’ will be the first of 19 models planned, according to Castiglionii.
The firm’s plans include ‘four complete new models next year,’ another four in 2017 and three in 2018, he said.
Castiglioni revealed the Italian marque’s expansion plans at the launch of the Turismo Veloce 800, the firm’s first tourer, in France last week. He said MV Agusta expected to grow by 20% a year.
Castiglioni said there would be a ‘completely new four-cylinder platform that will come in the near future’.
Last year MV partnered with Mercedes-AMG as the German car firm acquired a 25% interest in the Italian bike maker.
