Driver caught watching Masterchef at the wheel

A DRIVER is accused of watching TV behind the wheel in this video shot on a mobile phone by another motorist.

Luke Page from Southend says the woman was watching the BBC’s Masterchef on a tablet computer and having a cup of tea while driving on the A127 in Essex.

Page got out of his car to confront the woman after spotting the computer in her Ford Fiesta.

In the clip, which shows the tablet mounted to the car’s windscreen, Page says: ‘Are you watching TV?’

The woman replies ‘No’ and winds her window up.

The clip starts as Page is travelling in a car behind the woman’s. He says: ‘She has got two pieces of technology attached to the front of her car, a phone and a tablet, and she’s currently watching TV while she’s driving.’

After confronting her, he says: ‘Well done. You’re going on Facebook.’
