Bandit 4 Project

Bandit 4 Project

Howye lads.

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend, it was a cracker.

So last week I picked myself up a nice little Bandit 400 for a project and eventually to use as my daily commuter. Got a really good deal on the bike as it had been sitting up for the guts of a year. Does anyone recognize the bike by any chance?

Anyway I got to work on it yesterday and started to strip the bike down. She was driving like a bit of a pig but as soon as I had made some adjustments and lubed all the appropriate areas (:lbhbh:) she started to drive nice and smooth for me.

Some clown fitted heated grips to it and it looks very much like a diy bodge job so they will be the first thing to go.

Took the back wheel off and removed the rear sprocket and disc. The bolts on the disc seem to be fairly badly hacked so looking for a bolt kit for that. I had a look on pro bolt but they don’t have the 400 as a model they cover. Would 600 bolt kit be the same I wonder??? :wassat:

Anyway the bike is now in the shed and ready to be worked on over the coming weeks. Ill throw up a few photos as I go along :thumbsup2:
