I have been riding my CBR 125 for about seven months now and I definitely feel as though I have outgrown it. The final part of my licence is in a couple of weeks and if I get the road test, I am thinking about upgrading. I have been doing lessons on a ER 650 I like it but it feels a bit small under me. I don’t want a bike that I am bent over on like the CBR. I would like a nice steady torque not a flying machine where the power all of a sudden kicks in. Something if I want to overtake I have power to get out and in as quick as possible

I would like to be comfortable on long journeys, easy to ride for I know I still have a lot of learning to do. Oh and something that I don’t have to service every 3000 miles

I have been looking at the Honda CBF 1000 or CB 1000. What are your thoughts and suggestions?
