So after test riding the BMW r1200gs and Triumph explorer 1200 it seem to me the triumph is a much nicer bike, for me it’s more comfortable, better ride quality, more powerful, better wind protection, feels better built, more refind and more powerful. It looks better too. But I wouldn’t have enough to buy it for another 12 months. And ye miserable b@stards put me off a loan or pcp.

So now I’m thinking a V-strom 1000, second hand maybe 2009/2010. Has anyone here had/have one? Is there any issues with them? Is it worth considering?
