Hi,
I have a 2008 BMW R1200GS.

The battery went dead some weeks ago and the mechanic recommended changing it.

Bike was fine (with new battery) but after leaving it in the driveway for five days (covered) the new battery went flat. Mechanic thought that the battery was a dud so we got a replacement.

Same problem happened over the Christmas when bike not running for a few days. I put the opti on it and got it to turn over after a 24 hour charge.

The problem is that if I leave the bike for more than two days the battery is dead.

It’s obviously not a battery problem.

Any ideas?
