I’m doing the seals on a pair of Deauville forks and for the life of me I can’t get one of them apart. First one came apart no problem but the second one when you try and slide hammer the fork tube from the lower it just jams on the first whack. I then have to tap the fork tube back into the lower with a plastic mallet to get it free. I thought maybe the tube bushing is sliding under the lower bushing and jamming. Has anyone had this and found a solution?
