Just went to take the valve cover off to do shims and noticed it’s been weeping a bit of oil down the front of the motor.
Bit of smoke off the exhaust headers starting up but hoping that’s just drips from where I had the cover off.
(No chance if it keeps leaking on to the headers it could go on fire is there? :unsure2:)

Anyway noticed the gasket was perfect except for along the front edge where it was a bit crusty. Really can’t be fecked buying a new gasket, is there something you can use to seal these things?

Is it possible to be leaking oil only when things heat up so you don’t see any drips on the drive or exhaust smoke?
