WSB 2015 Championship standings after Assen

KAWASAKI’S Jonathan Rea has extended his lead in the Championships standings to 50-points after a double win at Assen on Sunday.

Whilst Rea sits at the top of the standings and so far this season looking to be the one to beat, fellow Brit Leon Haslam is 50-points behind in second with Welshman Chaz Davies 17-points behind. Tom Sykes is currently in fourth place, but rookie Jordi Torres is only 5-points behind.

Reigning World Champion Sylvain Guintoli hasn’t had a great start to the season with the PATA Honda World Superbike Team as he currently resides in sixth place with team-mate Michael van der Mark only 5-points behind.

Brit Alex Lowes has dropped a place to 11th after his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki team-mate took him out in race one at Assen and therefore scoring zero points until race two.
