Recently bought a honda nighthawk 1991 from a dealer in town 3 weeks ago. It was running very sweet everyday with no issues until it went really sluggish and spluttering and cut out. It was low on petrol but not empty so I filled it up and was fine for 5 minutes but then the same shit and wouldnt start up again like the battery was dead.
I went home and charged up the battery and she started fine this morning, drove her for 10 minutes, filled her with juice and started spluttering and cut out again, wouldnt start like I had no power. The lights were faded and horn wouldn’t work. So im a little lost I don’t know if it is dirty petrol, battery, dirty carbs or all of the above. Does anybody have experience with this type of issue?
